Artistic Design Schedule

 

THE ROSE - “CENTER OF ATTENTION”

 

            

STANDARD DESIGNS        

 

1.  “SITTING PRETTY”

 

             A functional table to serve two for lunch, staged on a 36” card table provided by the committee.                              Tablecloths should have a fall of 15 to 18 inches or reach the floor and may have another                             shorter cloth on top.  Four entries.

                                       Eligible for Court of Etiquette Award Certificate. 

 

 

2.  “LET IT SHINE”

 

             A line or line-mass design staged on a white pedestal 36” high with a 20” square top to be covered                           by the exhibitor.  Pedestals provided by committee.  Four entries.

                                       Eligible for ARS Royalty Award Rosette. 

 

 

3.  “LIFTING THE SPIRITS”

 

             A creative design staged on a table covered in white.  Space allotted is 36” high x 24” wide x 20”                           deep.  Background and underlay supplied by and covered by arranger.  Four entries.         

                                       Eligible for Artist Award Rosette.

 

MINIATURE DESIGNS

 

4.  “REFLECTIONS”

 

             A small design in the oriental manner using mini and/or mini flora roses not to exceed 10” in                                   height, width or depth.  Design be staged on a 24” high pedestal with a 12” square top.                                 The pedestal will be standing on a table approximately 30” high.  Top to be covered by                                exhibitor.  Four entries.

                                       Eligible for Miniature Oriental Award Rosette. 

 

5.  “MAGIC”

 

             A modern design using one or more miniature roses staged in white cubicles approximately 13”                              above table height of 30”.  Each cubicle measures 6” high x 5” wide x 4 ½” deep.                                         Background and underlay, provided by exhibitor, should be covered.  Cubicles provided.                            Four entries.

                                       Eligible for Miniature Artist Award Rosette.  Five entries.

 

6.  “MEMORIES”

 

             A traditional design using miniature roses staged in white cubicles approximately 7” above a table                           height of 30”, each cubicle measures 6” high x 5” wide x 4 ½” deep.  Background and                                 underlay provided by exhibitor.  Cubicles provided.  Five entries.

                                       Eligible for Miniature Royalty Award Rosette.
